Investec required centralised management and storage of their range of branded merchandise. This extended from sourcing the product through delivery to their individual branches, worldwide.
They wanted to eliminate typical issues with sourcing and production lead times, shipment delays due to customs hold-ups and consequent late deliveries for campaigns and corporate events. Such matters were diverting their marketing staff from their primary responsibilities, and so they took a decision to outsource the function to Limelight.
Limelight configured an online branded merchandise store, ready stocked and available to Investec 24/7. All products in the store are pre-approved by Investec and stock levels are maintained in line with an agreed stocking policy depending on volume requirements, frequency of call-off and item value.
Using our Ease-E-Order system, Investec specifies their order online and within 48 hours Limelight ships and delivers the requirement.
Limelight now manages the end-to-end branded product supply chain from sourcing through storage and shipping to ultimate client receipt, worldwide.
The whole process is transparent to Investec. Whether the products are required for corporate events, executive gifts or hosted events they have the products to hand.
Since our involvement with Investec started several years ago, Limelight has worked closely with the company to extend their range of innovative merchandise in support of their global financial services brand identity.
